paigem515 My son is in meridian and it seems once they are granted liberty clearance they can come and go as long as they dont have duty!! They can have there phones and computers as far as rules not sure what u want to know

What do you mean by rules? As long as its not their duty day and they don't have watch they can pretty much do what they want on the weekends and after school. They are allowed to have a phone and laptop and they just have to have someone sign them out if they leave. My daughter and I went and stayed at the hotel on base with my husband several times while he was there and he actually came home for a weekend luckily we only lived in GA which is about 4 hours. Its a shock them to have much freedom they have especially right after basic. Hope this helps. :)

Hi ladies! My boyfriend graduates from boot camp on 6/21. He will be going to Meridian for A School after. Is there any links to "rules" when it comes to what they can and can't do while they are there? Thanks!

Ship 13 div249- the Navy pays for them to go to boot camp, then to A school, then to their first duty station and wherever else the Navy sends them. If they want to come home during leave before they go to their first duty station, they can reroute their plane ticket, but will have to pay the difference if there is any.

Chrissy does the Navy pay for their transportation home for a visit?  Just wondering.  The airfare is so high round trip of 649.00 and hoping he wouldnt have to pay for it out of his pay.  Thanks.
