HI TEXAS!  My sailor is doing great.. unfortunately the sailor that went with him left the program.  But is doing ok and getting ready to move on to his next job.  We should be celebrating our next graduation in 2 weeks, then on to the next phase... glad to hear all are doing well.

fyi--just found this site. Click on your state, then enter your sailor's last name in the Search box. It should bring up a press release with the info he submitted at RTC. No guarantee when your hometown newspaper will publish it : ) but now you can start bugging them!

Good luck with the apartment CCity!

I'm happy everyone got home safe and sound. It really is nice not having to check the mail a million times a day or be anxious about a phone call every second. My husband got a cell phone so I can talk to him every day and I just put in an application for an apartment near the base so I hope we get it.

ProudMomma- that is such a relief to hear that the Navy Federal Credit Union is going to do that because this whole situation was going to delay my move over to Florida and now families don't have to worry as much.

Hello Ladies. Can you believe a week ago today we were watching our boys march and carry ALL of their flags?!!!  I do feel so much better though now that it's done and over and there is more contact.  I hope all of you are doing well! Lets keep our fingers crossed on this government shut down. I posted a link on m FB page that says if any one has the Navy Federal Credit Union that the bank is going to upfront the money so they won't miss a pay check. I think that's wonderful!!

Well I hope everybody has a great weekend! Miss talking to you all!
