About me:
Hi Everyone,
I am a Hairstylist, I've done hair for 26 years and love my job!! I am A Very Proud Navy Mom!! My daughter Katie is an IT and has been in the Navy since March 2006, she just got married in May to Matt who is also an IT they met in there A school, they just left Naples Italy where they were stationed for 2 years. Katie & Matt are in Yokosuka Japan for 3 years now. She is stationed on the USS Blue Ridge and her hubby is shore duty there in Japan.
I am here to support or represent my:
Child/Stepchild
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Thinking about joining
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
To let go she is our only child so it was very hard in the beginning. I have learned that she is so much stronger than I ever thought she was. She has really made something of her life and is loving every minute of it!! I have learned that Home for her isn't Home anymore the Navy is her Home now!! I am Very Proud of all of her accomplishments!!
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

The numa numa one is still my favorite. You can find so much on you tube! Its time for me to do a new one on Patrick but I need pictures, videos. Wouldn't it be cool if someone made a video from the USS BR like this or numa numa?

How impressing to read your story her story. Beautiful pictures :) Beautiful family!!!
My daughter met a young man at BC and they say they are friends and his dad is in the Navy and deployed out of the country. My daughter is bringing her friend home for Christmas. Im unsure how much they care about one another but she seems to think you really can't have a relationship in the Navy...Anyway I will share this (your) story with her...:)

My daughter is also stationed in Yokusuka. She is currently out on their cruise. She is an ABH and works on the flight deck in the fantail area.

Hello, yeah I am happy that Danielle shares her photos. I've been keeping a log of the places she performs at and if there is a picture to go with it I add it too it. I know she performed yesterday for a friendship fest so I should go see if there are anymore new pictures.
