I am a school nurse with three children. Two boys and one girl. My oldest son is leaving for boot camp on Aug 17 and Im starting to feel sad, proud and worried all at the same time.

From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
I hear the navy works as a family. My son left for bootcamp today and I see in him a new direction and I am so proud.

Can't believe we have 2 weeks left till graduation!!!! I hoping to get the I'm a sailor phone call next week.  Not sure of the exact day he is going to battlestations, but I'm figuring around tues or wed.  Hope all is well there, 14 days left.....

So how is your Matt holding up?  My Matt sounded good when he called today, said he'd made a lot of friends and was still glad he'd joined. I was relieved when he said that, but my husband is retired airforce, so he's somewhat used to the military life.
