Not everyone gets leave after A school either, it all depends on what their orders are. My son leaves Wed. morning for Guam. He is not doing FMF @ this time, he choose to go to a duty station first. My answers probably didn't help you much, but if you need anything else, ask away! Good luck w/the wedding planning!!

- Can anyone tell me what is "A" school all about? My soon-to-be-sailor is my 24 year old son, and he does not do well with communicating in letters. I am in Louisiana, and concerned with how much time we'll have to visit. SR Ray, my son said that he leaves immediately after graduation, but the Public Affairs office said that he'll have a few hours. Anyone with information on this? Ray is on Ship 07, div 109.
