Admin Tip of the day 3/18/2008: Be Best Friends w/ the Search Button

Hi Navy Family : )
All right, I am getting down on my knees and I am begging you (from the bottom of my heart) to PLEASE all start using the search function more often...actually- use it BEFORE you even want to start a new discussion. I feel like I like I’m having some major cases of déjàvu. We have so many GREAT conversations already started on hotels, and empty nests, PIR, etc, etc, etc… that I really need everyone to search before you ask (pretty please). Many of the answers you are looking for are in here… I promise- but you have to do a little work to get it. The search button is in the top right corner when you scroll all the way up to the top of the page. You can type in your sailors ship and division or even a member’s name… I mean really- this tool is a time saver. Also, when starting up a group- please look at all the pages so we can avoid duplicates. And take advantage of the categories… we have two pages of them- I just made one for PIR alone- so direct all your questions dealing with that subject- under that category.
Okay- happy searching everyone. :) Please let me know if you have any questions.
Sincerely, Catherine

Thank you so much for the directions. This web site incorporate a lot of information, so we definitely need help finding exactly what we are looking for. There is no need to ask twice.
