Navy For Moms

Did you know that posting something as simple as a name or an innocent
photograph can threaten lives and missions thousands of miles away?

To help you get a better understanding of how you can continue to be a responsible N4M member, we encourage you to watch this brief video from two experts responsible for keeping our site – and our Sailors – safe.

Dave Linabury is the SVP Social Media Director at Campbell-Ewald. He’s a nationally recognized blogger, a frequent speaker and panelist at Internet conferences, and has done in-depth research on internet safety.

Senior Chief Tom Jones is the Public Affairs Officer for Navy Recruiting
Command, and has 18 years of experience in Navy media, including
photography, videography, journalism and public affairs.

Senior Chief Tom Jones and Dave Linabury - please check out the Facebook page for Laura Ingraham (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Laura-Ingraham/271042954725) who just today posted a photo of herself with a Navy Seal with comments that he will be deploying soon.  I have sent her a message to remove his photo, prehaps a request should also come from the Navy.

Actually this website needs to be updated!  we moms are not going to know how much fuel the ship is carrying, google earth is free and widely used so now you can know just about where everyone is all the time, Have you watched youtube there are videos of sailors goofing around on the ship showing many things I have never seen before, they show ship openhouses.  I agree this site needs guidelines but lighten up and update!
