Hi moms, here's a new video from Rear Admiral Robin Braun. Who is she you ask? RDML Braun is our NAVYForMoms.com spokesperson. This site is very near and dear to her heart. She's a mom and served as the Navy as Deputy Commander at Navy Recruiting Command in Millington, TN. She's been in the Navy for 27 years, currently in the Navy Reserve. RDML Braun is a pilot and has flown the Navy's big aircraft like DC-9s and EC-130Qs (for her full background, see the link below). You may see more from her from time to time at events and on the site. Several of our members have had a chance to get to know her. Hopefully, as this site continues to grow and our events spread around the country she'll be able to join in again.

This video is part of a series. Next to come is one dedicated to A/C School. Hopefully, it will give you some insight so you'll know what your Sailors can expect in their next training position. Look for a poll to hit the site in the next few months. We'll be asking you for additional video topics.

Thank-you Admiral Bruan. Today wasn't a good day for me because all I could think about was my son. But you made me feel a lot better.

I am new to Navy for moms but my son is now over 3 years in. I am so proud

of him and cant believe how much he has grown and is so gratefull for the freedom and

what we are blessed to have in this county. This film brought tears to my eyes as I

remembered the anxiety and how amazing the graduation ceremony was, even though it was

in January and what a blizzard!!!!!  My son will be doing his 2nd deployment this year I pray for all of our enlisted men and women and God bring them home safe. Best to all of you.

Thank you.  I am so proud of my son but tears still keep coming in my eyes, I know that this a good thing that my son is doing and it is what he wants.  I am so happy that there is such a support system not only for my family but my son.
