I've "heard" folks talking about these pictures, however; I have not seen them.  Does anyone have any they are willing to share or know of an order form to get them??

Sealifedifferently - My husband's name is Dave, but he said they don't know first names only last. But he did say a bunch of the guys know about me and the baby, Lilly, so maybe he might recognize that. I just went to NFL.com and clicked on the link for he draft. I don't know about the NBA though.

Sophia - that is so funny...my husband (former Army) was amazed at the fact that the RDC was not yelling too much. What is your husbands name... I aksed my son about him and he t old me a name... he said he knew one guy who was having a baby... I bet they will get along because of the sports if nothing else...sounds like they both eat, breathe and sleep sorts... how funny. I am hoping that I will be able to get the information that he wants... I am not really into sports all that much ... but he told me where to go. I am sure I can figure it out... lif nothing else I will tell him to find your husband and get updated....

Sealifedifferently - I sent my husband the draft info too!! I sent him the first round and trade info, I still have to send the rest, I didn't want to do it all at once. I've sent him weekly updates on the pregnancy. Last year's draft, we couldn't leave the house until our team (Ravens) picked - that is one thing I enjoy with him being gone, no sports stuff! And my husband and your son are in the same division. He said they don't even get yelled at that much! I'm sure my dad (former Army) would have a joke about that!

All I got a phone call today too... My son said that he has a test tomorrow too..but he is ready since he has been in bed the lat two days due to having to have his wisdom teeth pulled out (bottom only) he did say that he has not been any bleeding and he has not had much pain...he said he ate today. His spirits were high which always makes me feel better. He did say that the letter he wrote last week has yet to be mailed and that he wrote another one today. He also stated that he has not recieved any mail yet. He did say he thought they said that they might deliver some today! Lets hope. My son is a sports fanatic so he asked me to send the NBA ratings and also the NFL draft information. That was the priority of the phone call Ha! Ha!.... I feel so much better but I do feel for those that have not recieved a phone call... so sorry. Hopefully Mothers Day!

I got a phone call, of course he called when I was at dinner with my brother, so he called his sister and parents and then called me back for last 10 minutes. He sounded sooo much better than last week, which really made me glad. I'm sad I didn't get to talk the whole time, I had so much to tell him. But I'm glad he got to talk to his parents and sis. Maybe they will get a little extra time next week because of mother's day (fingers crossed!!) He said that he failed his physical test too by 15 sec. And that he has a big written test tomorrow, but he said he did well on the pre-test. And he said he's mailed a ton of letters, so hopefully I'll get them this week, He also asked for another book of stamps, so I'll have to get those out tomorrow.

I think that this may just be a matter of a different procedure for different divisions. Some RDC's may think it's good for them to make calls and others may not. And remember that the recruits are supposed to be working as a team. So, not getting a call may have very little, or nothing. to do with an individual recruit's progress. I am in no way sure that everything is fine. Just cautiously optimistic. I think we can all be cautiously optimistic since we are all still here. Hope for the best!

sajest...

Im with you...im beginning to think something is wrong. I see other Div.'s getting to call and I still haven't heard from Zach. I did receive a letter but everything is so delayed...im not sure what is going. This "NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS" is killing me!!!

Jakob and Lily's Mom: I think our guys are in the same division. So, it makes sense that we got calls. Yeah, I hear they give 'em a few tries to pass the PT test. I"m not so sure about the written tomorrow tho. Oh yeah, my son Alex had his wisdom teeth removed. Said it actually didn't bother him much at all. Must have some great dentists (or meds) there. Olga, please don't feel bad. It still is true that no news is good news and if you knew how close to having a heart attack I am when I get these calls you wouldn't be so jealous. Let's hope that none of us get calls tomorrow/this week after the written test. Steven is just working hard and using all his time to prepare for the week. Bet you get a letter this week!

Sophia, so glad to see someone on here from the eastcoast, I'm fro PA, my son is ship 11 div 212. I am feeling the same as you, today i should have grocery shopped but did not want to be in a pulic place and get a phone call (people would wonder what is up with that woman). I take my cell phone with me everywhere, even in the shower. I am afraid that i could miss the call. I guess we can only hope that the three week mark is coming up,and he told me on theI'm Here call that we would hear anything till then. I guess the old adage no news is good news, that doesn't mean that us moms have to like it. Everybody hang in there and be strong, just like we are encouraging all our loved ones to do in BC.
