If anyone is on the sailor rescue list and live in the Seattle area there is a new post! A Military wife with a baby needs a place to stay until her flight to Korea. You can go into the sailor rescue list group to get all the info.

OKAY!

I'm going with FRIDAY @ 7pm....7lbs 6oz and 19.5 inches long....

I have NO MORE IDEA than the rest of you if this is close or not!  But it would be GREAT TIMING!  And a good size without being tooooo big!  Praying that for her sake it's WELL before next Weds.  I think she'll hurt someone if she has to wait that long!

BTW...I'll be happy to send the winner of this a prize!  Makes a bit more fun that way!  Heeheee! ♥

Will be raising that glass and thinking of all at 3 pm :)

Went Christmas caroling this weekend ( yes, we are starting already!) with a group I belong too.  This year middle daughter joined also & said it was so much fun.  We sang at a church holding a craft show, a community event and an assisted living center- the residents there all remember us from year to year and have so much fun singing along.  Kind of forces me to realize Christmas is coming wayyy more quickly than I'm ready for it to be!

Davesmom- heard anything yet?  Thinking of you.

JLmom- great pic, nice looking sailor.

Nita, love the pic of grandson-that age is so cute :)

Yeah, Jeffiner on grandma news.  Kids listen?  NOT in their nature.

T-Lynn, glad sailor is enjoying his new post.

Annev- our pkgs. usually only take 7-9days.  Holidays may be a little longer.  We've sent homemade cookies & sailor has never said anything was stale, just send more!  they were great!        If you don't have a vacumn seal ( I don't ), wrap them in foil, put in plastic ziploc bag, close almost all the way.  Insert straw and suck out excess air- works great :)

Maggs- hahaha- those kids!  They don't even know how funny we are.  Some one else has to tell them- and I love your sense of humor.
Agree about SIL.   Amen to what AntiM and Blondie said.   I was very close to one sister for so many years.  Then last year she disagreed about how we were handling an issue with one of our kids.  Had a big blow up and now she barely talks to us anymore.   I hope someday she gets over it and we can be close once again.

Val- glad sailor called & all the pieces are falling into place for his visit.  I guess he's out of the dog house now :))

Claudia, sorry your sailor did not advance.  Is he ok with leaving the Navy?  I guess he was meant to be somewhere else;  everything happens for a reason.   Will keep him in my prayers.

Well, gotta run.  Hope everyone has a great day-
Oh, I vote for Wednesday baby- 19"   7 lbs sounds good.

NO BABY!   Arrrrgh!

YES - 3pm EST is PERFECT I think!  It gives everyone a good time to be online and ready to join together in our HAPPY THOUGHTFUL THANKSGIVING TOAST! :o) T-Lynn...I'm looking forward to your wonderful words!

WhooHOooOOO...J made RP 3!  He is being VERY quiet and humble about it -but since I know the HECK he's gone through this past year,,,snake bite, stolen bankcard/eating peaches for 3 weeks, staph infection, Cellulitis, ALMOST LOOSING TOES, etc, etc...I think he's sacrificed and earned it! Plus -he did well on his test!  BIG CONGRATS to all the others who made the next jump.  And to those who didn't - I've been there too.  It doesn't make your Sailor any less powerful or worthy at what they do - it's often just a timing thing.  Keep the faith that their path is exactly where it should be. THEY WILL MAKE IT NEXT TIME! And they need to believe that so they don't loose their momentum.

Maggs...YES!  You have a lovely, rolling accent and it's such fun to listen to you speak.  It just adds to the enjoyment of being around you!

I have to say I was sad that NAVY lost their football game this past weekend.  It took them out of the USO MILITARY BOWL GAME.  I don't know who'll play now - but it can't possibly be as wonderful as seeing NAVY!

I'll keep you updated on the baby watch...have an AMAZiNG WEEK!
