Hello everyone and welcome to the Navy!!! This group was started for the loved one of DEPPERS leaving in the month of November.......What year you say? Well ......any year!

We are an extension of the group DEPPERS....in but not yet

http://www.navyformoms.com/group/deppersinbutnotyet

Please if you havent been there go there now....There is a ton of information that you will need and are probably dying for.

This group however is just for those that have a loved one leaving in November. Even though everyone is welcome!

So if you have information that will be helpful for all, leave it in the DEPPER group but if you have issues, information, or just need to talk to someone that is going where you are...This is the place to be.

All new N4M's....check your profile page often...scroll to the bottom to see comments left on your wall. See the tabs at the top of your page?? Explore behind them, LOTS of info.

The Forums and Videos tab....great stuff.

Check your little box in the upper right hand corner, it will show you how many friend requests you have, how many messages (pm's) you have from friends on N4M's and the settings is where you go to cut off all those e-mails you get from N4M's.

Go to YouTube and search Navy Boot Camp, graduation, Battlestations 21 (CNN does this one), folding, ironing the Navy way...lots of good info.

Knowledge is Power...the more you and your rct know beforehand the better prepared you're going to be. Boot Camp is tough but it is SOOO worth it.

Ya'll make sure you read the discussions above, check out the forum for boot camp instructions, check out YouTube...search Navy boot camp, folding, ironing (the Navy way) graduation, Battlestations 21 (CNN does this)

Join this group (if not already) Just click on the http address
http://www.navyformoms.com/group/deppersinbutnotyet read some of the discussions for good info

Knowledge is power and strength.

They need to time their runs...the timed run seems to be the hardest thing for them to pass

The stuff the DEP group is memorizing...they REALLY need to know it for Boot Camp...they will be ahead if they know this stuff.

Hello everyone :)...Some of you know me and some dont but HELLO to all anyway :)... I have been an absent creator and I wanted to apologize for that. I began college and wow it is hard! I couldnt manage N4M's and my school work at the same time :(...I want to say thank you to those that stepped up and helped by being here and answering questions. I have now completed my first 8 weeks and I am attempting to add N4M's back in to my schedule so I can update information. If there is someone that is not assistant admin but has been working in that capacity while I have been gone email me and I will promote you. I am not here to take over by no means LOL. I have 12 of these leavin' in groups and I cannot do all that but if something needs to be added or something needs to be fixed or someone has questions I will be here. All you have to do is send me a message and I will work on what ever you need :). I will pop in every now and again to say hello but other than that this is your group :).

Have a great day :)

CodesMom, that is so funny, my husband constantly says that to my son faithfully. LOL...Pain is weakness leaving the body!!! How classic.

Glad to hear that he is up and ready. Hopefully our sons will meet up and motivate each other. Its the begining of a wonderful adventure. Good Luck to you and your son!!

DEP mtg last night and they did PT too, then regular PT tonight... they all looked so exhausted! We have an hours drive to the recruiting station. By the time we got home my son could barely lift his leg out of the van. Good news is that they did their personal physical assessments and he is already beyond the minimum requirements for BC! This is from a kid who could not do one push up back in March! His new motto... "Pain is weakness leaving the body"... I guess he lost a lot of weakness today! ;o)

Sorry, yes November 17th. Six and 1/2 short months left! It will be here before we know it. Taking one day at a time and trying to drag out the time as much as we can. Right now planning for prom and graduation/high school, while going to PT and DEP meetings.
