Question about religious medallions

I read that the recruits are allowed one silver medallion no bigger than a dog tag, but when are they ok to wear it...I also read they can't wear it while in uniform. Is this just something they can keep with their personal items?Continue

I SMILE 2011, got so excited about your Florida Group that I didn't even notice it was a Facebook group when I was logging in to join. Uh duh, sent a request to join.

That can mean anything: it's time for a drug test, they need more info.... Offers of an earlier ship date usually come with a set time in which to accept or decline, so probably not that, but anything is possible. Join the group DEP-Leavin for bootcamp in September to connect with others with loved ones who may be leaving the same day/week and may have PIR with your Future Sailor.  Be sure to check out the discussion, Things to Do in the Last Month Before Your Future Sailor Leaves for the RTC.
