Jan we are here for you-Go ahead and shed those tears-sometimes it's not good to hold them in.I did alot of praying yesterday for our kids and families. Remember your not alone and God see's your broken heart. We love you in the Navy family.

Great Job on all the testing-Just remember they will have to continue doing them in bc and where ever they are stationed. My daughter is doing the testing 2 yrs. later.She loves it-it keeps her in shape.

When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
You need to support your child-be there for them at all times.They will get frustrated somethimes but that is ok. Life is always a learning process.Help them out -make suggestions-ask them questions.Let them ask you questions.Encourage them.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Hey girlfriend, how r you and Mike doing? All is good at our house, we hear from Nick a couple of times a week at least. He recently moved into the barracks on base. Ashleigh's fiance' left for Iraq yesterday -------- ick. Heather all settled back at her home away from home?! Thought we might do a gathering this month but really haven't been in the mood to plan one...maybe November?????

Sorry we keep going back and forth about getting together - a sure sign of busy women! HA! I'm going up to Great Lakes for a visit next weekend (Oct. 9-12). Hi Irene. Good to hear from you. All is well with us. My sailor started his pre-dive training yesterday. So, if all goes according to plan, he should be in Panama City, FL by Thanksgiving. I am planning to go up for a visit on October 9-12 and take his girlfriend and my daughter. He really misses home, but it's getting better now that he has his phone & laptop and can communicate with us and his girlfriend. We need to get together. Check your schedule for this Saturday - may be we can do morning coffee or lunch. Call me. Love ya!
