OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

You are very welcome.
Don't forget to make the changes below.

I see you have joined USS Emory S. Land; since the USS Emory S. Land is a submarine tender, you may also want to join Sub Moms.

The length and location of your Sailor's "A" School would suggest that his rating is either PS or SH, so join Personnel Specialists Moms or SH (Ship's Serviceman) Moms and Others (it's a new group and not very active).

Since you have Sailor, you can change "Waiting to leave for Boot Camp" above to "Enlisted."

Make changes 3 and 4 at the bottom of OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) (clickable link). There may be other changes you need to make as well, so read and consider each of the changes.
