If you look at the left hand column on your page...you see your 'Friends' then your 'Groups'.
On my page under groups you will see the state flag, you can click there...or go to the top of this page just under the N4M banner, there is a row of tabs. Click on 'Groups', when that page opens, type Indiana in the search block. Click on one of the entries with the state flag, once the page opens there will be a block to click on to join.
