My son started school this morning.  Can't wait to hear how his day went, he should be oovoo-ing tonight.  I love the internet!  It would be kind of nice if they were in the same classes or some of the same, that way we could keep track of them through eachother.  What is your Sailor's name?

Hi there and congratulations. My son also left for SC on Saturday. He is an MM, what about your son? My son was in division 335. What time did your son fly out on Saturday?

wonders520; what???? He called me???? He knows to leave a message.  Never saw an 847 number come through any of our phones.  Darn and shoot.  Been attached to my cell phone for weeks hoping, praying to hear.  Know he has tried his girlfriend and missed her a couple times so I was trying to be careful.  Well, glad to hear he is doing okay.  Thank your son for passing along the message.  Hope your son is well and "enjoying" bootcamp.  Did he leave from San Diego on the 16th of August, too?  We were there to watch the festivities, maybe we saw him.  L

Hey Nancy,

I think what would really help you understand boot camp is to go look at the "P-day" section here:

http://www.navyformoms.com/group/ctratemoms/forum/topics/boot-camp-for-dummies-with

You will find all the ship and how they are arraigned.  In fact you should review everything there....

Per finding your sons group 338, just go to this link,

 http://www.navyformoms.com/forum/topics/groups-listed-by-pir-date

You will notice that your son will be in TG (Training Group) 48 which PIR is Oct 12th.  Just click on that link and you will be taken there...

If you can't get it to work, just click this link:

http://www.navyformoms.com/group/pir10122012

I'm just showing you how so you can tell other moms how to find their future sailors.
